Hate can take many forms and can be frightening, confusing and degrading. The below scenarios are taken from real-life instances of hate crime from across the country, and have been altered slightly to protect the victims.
All demonstrate the different ways hate can take place, and all highlight the severe impact the crime or incident has had on the victim's life.
